1) 4th OF JULY WEEKEND
With the short week, I hit the road to visit a few friends and to see a few sights. The TX CRE Brief will be back next week with a full update of the TX Commercial Real Estate scene.
Hope y’all had a safe and celebratory 4th of July!
2) BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Damn Fine Coffee & Fried Pies in Old Seabrook, TX
Mel “Melvis” Jarnagin and his “Damn Fine Coffee & Fried Pies” will be hosting a one-year anniversary celebration on Saturday the 10th in Old Seabrook, TX.
As part of my endless travels around the state, this weekend I’ll be heading to Old Seabrook to celebrate a true miracle. The one-year anniversary of a small commercial business that started right in the middle of the pandemic. This establishment is a testament to hard work, endless determination, and a whole lotta Texas grit!
With plenty of room outside, movies in the park, and a new stage built for live entertainment, this should be a great day filled with coffee, pies and fun. Hope to see you there!
The shop will be open all day, from 8am till 9pm.
